We got to sit down with the King of Florida before his October 18th match against Dylan Derringer at TERROR IN THE TERRITORY.

You have been on an impressive streak in the Territory since INCEPTION from nearly winning the Chain at Smitty to a huge victory over Dark Sheik. Has the quality of the competition in MWT been what you have expected thus far?
“The competition has been steep it’s a fight every time I step between those ropes and I wouldn’t want it any other way. I’m improving in every way every day and if the rest of the locker room doesn’t have that same sentiment it will be a wake up call for them.”
As the King of Florida, what do you think you would have to accomplish to also become the King of the Midwest?
“It is very achievable actually, to be the King of the Territory I have to take the chain from Ron Bass Jr and impose Pure Wrestling Excellence.”
You’ve already had some big matches in the Territory but who is your most wanted opponent that you haven’t had the opportunity to go one on one with?
“There’s a locker room of fresh faces I would like to step in the ring with. For them it would be the equivalent of a 4 year education learning from their mistakes stepping in the ring with me.”
Up next at TERROR IN THE TERRITORY you have an opponent in Dylan Derringer that has been on a little bit of a hot streak as well. Do you have a set gameplan for high flyers like Dylan or do you plan for each opponent individually?
“I have a plan for everyone of my opponents and that is to wear them down, gas them out, and impose my will. With Dylan being a high flyer the plan is to keep him grounded and out wrestle him.”
What is the next big goal for Daniel Starling in MWT?
“The chain and to prove without a shadow of a doubt that I am the best wrestler to step foot in the Midwest Territory.”
