We sit down with the leader of The Brand to try and get a little insight on the future of his stable in MWT.
In the year MWT has been in business there has been one group, led by one man, that has seemed to be wanting the company to be under his control since the very beginning.
The Brand, led by Ben Shearin, has caused constant pain and problems to the athletes in the Territory that don’t seem to share his love of chaos.
Today, we are sitting down with the man who may one day get his wish of tearing down MWT and rebuilding it in HIS image.
These are 5 questions.
When you select an athlete to become a member of The Brand (like recent recruit Noah Veil) what is it about that particular person that makes you believe they are a good fit?
“All it boils down to is winning. I will add anyone if I think they have that capability. Noah, proven winner. Lobo, proven winner. Even Jake Bravado, shows he can win.“
As far as people that have been in The Brand since its MWT inception, one person has seemed to be on your bad side more often than not. That is Dylan Cole. At The Smitty you even walked out on him. What is going on with young Dylan and The Brand?
“Dylan has a lot to learn. His biggest problem is listening. If he would just open those ears, I could show him the way. He’s gotten too big for his britches here lately, but I have the right plan to get him back on track. But as of now, I’m not too thrilled with Dylan Cole.“
Another member of The Brand I want to bring up is Lobo Okami. We have not been seeing a lot of this monster lately. Where has your beast been and can we expect to see them again soon?
“Lobo is fine. I will pull the monster out when I need to. As for where they have been, I wouldn’t tell you anyways. How did you even get this interview time?“
Is there another member of the MWT roster that seems like they have what it takes to become a member of The Brand? I have noticed one Jake Bravado showing up in similar places to you and your charges at opportune times.
“I’d love to have Bravado stick around. He’s everything right now. Everything a certain someone isn’t. But, I’d love for The Brand to be everywhere. A little foot in every direction. You never know when we’re going to show up.“
I know you have a lot of irons in the fire right now so we will get to this last question. What is next up for The Brand as far as goals in MWT?
We want to be the best. If not for a miraculous recovery, I’d have the Smitty winner right now. Can you imagine Noah wearing that hat!? Always next year, and I promise you haven’t heard or seen the last of The Brand.
