Yet another thing I was looking forward to is shut down. It’s the right call though. Full statement after the jump…

Heavy Hitters 2 is Being Postponed

It pains us to announce this, but in accordance with new CDC recommendations and new
directives announced today by the state of Indiana, we are postponing Heavy Hitters 2
(originally scheduled for March 27, 2020 in Sellersburg, IN).

An announcement of a new date will be made as soon as possible. We are currently working out the specifics with our performers and venue. (We explored the logistics of running the show with an empty venue, but circumstances beyond our control have made that impossible.)

We will do our absolute best to keep as much of the originally scheduled talent on the card as possible, and we will explore ways to make the show even better than before.

(In the interest of full disclosure, it is likely that “Filthy” Tom Lawlor will not be able to
perform on a rescheduled date for Heavy Hitters 2 due to his impending return to active MMA competition. We look forward to watching Tom compete in the Professional Fighters League and wish him the best of luck. We hope to get Tom on a PPW show as soon as possible, and if necessary, we will secure an adequate replacement for Heavy Hitters 2.)

If you pre-purchased tickets for Heavy Hitters 2, they will be honored for the
rescheduled event or any future PPW event. If you’d prefer, you may request a refund by direct messaging us on social media or emailing ParadigmProWrestling@Gmail.com.

All refunds will be processed as quickly as possible. We will keep the window for refunds
open after we’ve announced the new date for Heavy Hitters 2, in case you are unable to
attend the rescheduled date. We hope to resume promoting shows in late April or May.

This is a trying time for the world as a whole, and independent wrestling is being hit hard. To be frank, PPW is taking a hit from being forced to reschedule this show. But both PPW and independent wrestling will survive and come back better than ever. It’s what we do.

But given how many shows have been forced to cancel, many performers will be without work for weeks, and possibly months. If you are able to do so, there has never been a better time to support independent wrestlers by buying their merchandise.

We are a family, let’s do our best to take care of each other.

Feel free to reach out to us directly if you have any questions. Please stay safe and healthy. We love you all, and we thank you for your continued support of Paradigm Pro Wrestling.

Sincerely,
PPW Management
