Come and join the Central Library and La Sardina Gallery for a day of Lucha Libre (Mexican Wrestling)! This is a family-friendly bi-cultural event for the entire Indianapolis community. This free event features exciting Lucha Libre performances, a Lucha Libre themed art exhibition, games, a film screening, and art activities for all. We will also have a community market with local artists and vendors. Come and release your inner Luchador!
Day of Festival Schedule:

10:00 a.m.: Festival begins with activities, games, art exhibit, and vendors until 3pm.
El Camaron Electronico will be mp3jing during the event.

11:00 a.m.: First Lucha Libre Wrestling Match and introduction of all of the wrestlers on a catwalk

12:00 p.m.: Second Lucha Libre Match

1:00 p.m.: Third Lucha Libre Match

2:00 p.m.: Final presentation with some time for photos with your favorite Luchador.

3:00 p.m.: Artist talk with Carlos Sosa, John Vazquez aka @AlienSushi and La Sardina Gallery founder Melt-Face and El Camaron Electronico about the cultural significance of the event.

4:00 p.m.: Movie screening in the auditorium – Tales of Masked Men – A Journey Through Lucha Libre – a film by Carlos Avila

This is also the time of year where we really start asking for donations to keep this thing running for the next year.
