Match 1: Tag Team

The War Raiders defeated Ricky Martinez & Justin Storm with the Fallout.

Do you like squash? Then this is the match for you. NXT knows how to build up monster tag teams that’s for sure.

  • After the match they call out TM61 and beat up on Storm.
  • Adam Cole is a jerk.
  • Excellent recap of the Johnny and Ciampa feud. Top level stuff in my book.

Match 2: Single

EC3 defeated Kassius Ohno with the One Percenter.

This was OK but nothing really special. Four minutes isn’t much time to impress.

Match 3: Single

Bianca Belair defeated Aliyah with a Torture Rack/Sit-out Facebuster combo.

Well 3 matches and three squashes. They have at least all been different, but this is a developmental show so you can’t get too mad.

  • Recap of Shayna Baszler vs. Nikki Cross. Nikki is an awesome crazy person and Shayna is doing a decent acting job of the bully being thrown off her game a bit.
  • An interview sets up a Dakota Kai vs Bianca match for next week.

Match 4: Single

WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne defeated Kyle O’Reilly with the Bitter End.

The match of the show in a walk. Pete Dunne is amazing now, and I can’t imagine how good this kid will be with a few more years experience. If he was 6’1″ he would be WWE Champion.

  • Undisputed Era tries to attack but Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan save their buddy.
  • Aleister Black is out to close the show. He gets the usual out before Lars comes out to destroy him. That’s the last image we see as the show fades to black (See what I did there? I’m a hack.).

Overall Thoughts: This didn’t add a lot to my excitement for Saturday. Luckily I was already pumped as hell so it didn’t matter much. Overall just an average NXT show and that’s not a bad thing.
